Background
Dr. Christine L. Secilia is a dedicated academic and experienced law enforcement professional, currently serving as a lecturer and coordinator for the undergraduate criminal justice department at Point Park University. With over a decade of hands-on law enforcement experience, she has worked in various capacities, including as a patrol officer, sergeant and chief. Her expertise spans criminal investigations, leadership and administration, making her an asset in both practical and academic settings.
Dr. Secilia’s educational background includes a bachelor's and master’s degree in administration of criminal justice from Point Park, culminating in a Doctorate of Education in Leadership and Administration. Her extensive academic experience, paired with her real-world law enforcement knowledge, equips her to provide students with a well-rounded understanding of the criminal justice system.
A natural team player, Dr. Secilia thrives in collaborative environments, enjoying the challenges of planning, organizing and guiding others toward success. Outside of her professional life, she cherishes spending time with her two grandsons, who keep her on her toes and have become her favorite hobby.
